Learning about the parts of plants we eat!

We had a wonderful science class in the garden on Friday led by Susan Lepple! The children explored many plants in the garden looking specifically for the parts we eat.  They also had a chance to sample many different kinds of vegetables that we grow in our school garden.

In science we are learning about plants!  We  made three different seed models out of paper and tested them out to see how they traveled!

We are off to a great start in second grade! We have been busy learning routines and making new friends!

We make time for reading every day! Below your children are enjoying books with a partner.

On Thursday we escaped some of heat and humidity with some sprinkler time and Popsicles.
